Android Radio Installation in South Africa: What to Expect

Buying an Android radio is the easy part. Getting it fitted properly is what makes it feel factory. Here's what to expect when you have a DUDUAUTO radio installed, and where to find an authorised installer in South Africa.

Before you book

• Confirm fitment. Send us your make, model and year on WhatsApp (083 315 4278) so we can confirm the right radio for your dashboard.
• Choose your extras now. If you want a reverse, front or 360° camera, a dash camera or tyre pressure monitoring, fit them at the same time to save a second visit.
• Check what's in the box. Each radio ships with its power harness, brackets where needed, a microphone, GPS and 4G antennas, and the cables listed for your DUDU model.

On the day

The installer removes the factory radio, connects the DUDUAUTO unit to your car's existing wiring, mounts the microphone and antennas, and fits any cameras. They then test CarPlay or Android Auto with your phone, along with sound, reverse camera and, where supported, steering wheel controls. Ask them to show you the main settings before you drive off.

After installation
