Terms & Conditions – DUDUAUTO ZA (PTY) LTD

Applies to purchases made directly from DUDUAUTO ZA (PTY) LTD in South Africa.

1. Scope & Acceptance

These Terms & Conditions govern all online sales, after-sales support, and related services provided by DUDUAUTO ZA (PTY) LTD (“we”, “us”, “our”) to customers in South Africa. By placing an order or using our site, you confirm you are 18+ and authorised to contract, and that you accept these Terms, our Refund & Returns Policy, and any notices presented at checkout.

2. Orders, Pricing & Payment

  • Pricing: All prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR). Shipping is quoted or calculated at checkout. E&OE (Errors & Omissions Excepted).
  • Payment: Accepted payment methods are those shown at checkout. Orders are processed once payment clears.
  • Order Confirmation: You will receive an order confirmation by email. We may cancel and refund any order in cases of stock errors, pricing mistakes, suspected fraud, or other reasonable grounds.
  • Billing Info: You are responsible for providing accurate billing and contact details.

3. Products, Compatibility & Installation

  • Compatibility: Please ensure the product fits your specific vehicle model/year/trim before ordering. If unsure, contact us before purchase for guidance.
  • Installation: Professional installation is strongly recommended. Damage from incorrect installation, wiring, or vehicle-specific integration is excluded from warranty.
  • Use: Products must be used only for their intended automotive purpose and in accordance with instructions.

4. Shipping, Delivery & Risk

  • Dispatch & Estimates: Dispatch and delivery estimates are indicative and not guaranteed.
  • Risk: Risk passes on delivery to the address you supply. Please inspect your parcel upon receipt.
  • Damage/Shortage: Report shipping damage or missing items to us within 7 days of delivery so we can assist.

5. Warranty Summary

  • Coverage: All DUDUAUTO Android Radios carry a 24-month warranty covering manufacturing defects only.
  • Exclusions: Neglect, misuse, accident/abuse/force majeure; improper installation or non-intended use; physical damage (cracks, broken connectors, water ingress, etc.); unauthorised modification, repair, or firmware/software upgrade; user-setting errors; missing/tampered serial/warranty labels; inadequate return packaging. These are not covered.
  • Process: You must allow remote troubleshooting before any return is approved.

6. Returns, Refunds & Replacements

  • No change-of-mind: We do not accept returns/refunds for change of mind, buyer’s remorse, or incorrect product selection.
  • Faulty units only: Refunds/replacements are processed only where a unit fault is confirmed.
  • Notify within 7 days: You must notify us of issues within 7 days of receiving the package and complete our troubleshooting process.
  • Return condition: The complete package (unit + original accessories) must be returned unless we confirm otherwise.
  • Inspection: Refunds/replacements are processed after inspection verifies completeness and acceptable condition.
  • Return shipping: You cover return shipping to us. If the item is confirmed faulty under warranty, we cover shipping of the repaired/replacement item back to you. If not faulty, you cover both return and re-delivery costs. Out-of-warranty repairs/replacements are for your account.
  • Processing time: Returns are processed within 7–14 business days from receipt.

7. Software, Apps & Updates

  • Third-party services: Certain features (e.g., maps, streaming, Google Play, Android Auto/CarPlay where applicable) rely on third-party providers. Service availability or changes by those providers are outside our control.
  • Updates: Only install firmware/software updates we supply or approve. Unauthorised flashing or rooting may render the unit unusable and voids warranty.
  • Connectivity & data: Mobile data usage and connectivity are your responsibility and may incur costs from your provider.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, we shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses (including loss of data, loss of use, loss of profits, or vehicle/electrical damage) arising from improper installation, unauthorised modification, or use outside the product’s intended purpose. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act (CPA).

9. Resellers & Third-Party Sellers

These Terms and our Refund & Returns Policy apply only to products purchased directly from DUDUAUTO ZA (PTY) LTD. Purchases from resellers or marketplaces are governed by the seller’s own terms and warranties.

10. Customer Responsibilities

  • Provide correct order, contact, and delivery details.
  • Confirm vehicle compatibility or contact us for guidance before ordering.
  • Use professional installers where required; keep proof of installation if requested for warranty support.
  • Retain the original packaging and accessories for possible returns.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on our website (logos, graphics, product images, copy, downloads) is owned by or licensed to DUDUAUTO ZA (PTY) LTD and protected by applicable IP laws. You may not copy, adapt, or use it without written permission.

12. Privacy

We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable South African data-protection laws. We use your details to process orders, provide support, and communicate regarding your purchase.

13. Disputes & Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes should first be raised with us in writing so we can attempt to resolve them amicably.

14. Changes to These Terms
