This Privacy Policy explains how DUDUAUTO ZA (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses and protects your personal information when you visit www.duduauto.co.za, buy from us or contact us. We process personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).

1. Who we are

DUDUAUTO ZA sells DUDUAUTO Android car radios and accessories in South Africa. You can contact us about this policy or your personal information at sales@duduauto.co.za or on 044 220 4022.

2. What information we collect

Order and account details: your name, email address, phone number, billing and delivery address, and the products you order.
Vehicle details: the make, model and year of your vehicle when you ask us to confirm fitment.
Messages: what you send us by email, WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger or Instagram.
Technical information: your IP address, browser and device type, and how you use our website, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see section 6).

We do not see or store your full card details. Card and EFT payments are processed securely by Payfast.

3. How we use your information

To process, deliver and support your orders, including returns and warranty claims.
To answer your questions and confirm which radio fits your vehicle.
To help arrange installation with one of our authorised installers, if you ask us to.
To run, secure and improve our website.
To measure and improve our advertising, where you have agreed to marketing cookies.
To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only where needed to provide our service:

Payfast, to process payments.
Couriers, to deliver your order.
Authorised installers, only when you ask us to arrange installation.
Service providers that host our website and send our emails.
Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google, for analytics and advertising, where you have agreed to these cookies.
Authorities, where the law requires it.

Some of these providers store information outside South Africa. Where that happens, we rely on providers that offer protection comparable to POPIA.

5. How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as the law requires for tax and accounting purposes, and for at least the length of your product warranty. Other information is kept only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected for.

6. Cookies and tracking

Our website uses cookies. Necessary cookies keep the site and your cart working and are always on. With your consent, we also use:

Analytics cookies (such as Google Analytics) to count visits and see how the site is used.
Marketing cookies (such as the Meta Pixel, Meta Conversions API and Google Ads) to measure our adverts and show you relevant ads. When these are on, Meta may receive hashed (scrambled) versions of details such as your email address or phone number to match ad activity.
Embedded content such as videos, which may set their own cookies.

You choose which optional cookies to allow in the cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time from the cookie settings on our site.

7. Your rights

Under POPIA you have the right to:

ask what personal information we hold about you;
ask us to correct or delete it;
object to us using it, including for direct marketing; and
withdraw consent you have given.

8. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect your information, including a secure (HTTPS) website and restricted access to customer records. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
